Drug Abuse Resistance Education

Our DARE drug education program helps kids say no to drugs. Specially trained police officers lead classroom discussions about drugs and youth in schools across the parish. Officers discuss topics on peer pressure, how to avoid gangs, and how to just say no. Children will learn skills needed to recognize the pressures around them that may cause them to experiment with drugs.

Mission

The mission is to equip kids with the tools that will enable them to avoid negative influences and instead, allow them to focus on their strengths and potential.

If you would like more information about the D.A.R.E. program, or if you would like to schedule a classroom visit with one of our D.A.R.E. officers call Mr. Albert Moore at 369-3714 ext. 135 or email.
